Drafting software and compost bins

I finally got the drafting software installed. I have a few tutorials to get through the next couple days before I start the drawings, but I hope to have drafts of the site plan and floor plan started by week's end.

Also, I downloaded and printed plans for building several types of compost bins here.

You'll see links to plans for seven types of bins. The plans are complete with directions, materials lists, required tools, and estimated costs. I'm looking for recycled materials and hope to build two bins and start some compost this week.

Also, Local Harvest, (www.localharvest.org), shows an organic farm here in my home town. I plan on calling this afternoon to see if I can pay a visit. If so, I'll do a post and some pictures on what they're doing. Hopefully they can help me find local sources for good top soil and mulch. That's it for today. Peace. - Rick

Check out these compost bins for some good ideas. Actually, you should read this blog all the time. It's great.
