- About Me:
- I have about 10 acres under my care, most of which used to be in corn and soy beans but the land hasn't seen chemicals in almost 10 years now. I have a variety of laying hens - and a few roosters - which are truly "free range" that I'm keeping as organically as possible. This summer will be the first time I have enough eggs to sell (and donate!). I have a wet area that I'm expanding this year, and several hives of bees. My plan is to build a greenhouse yet this spring; I want to start providing salad greens to the schools. I'm excited to be a part of this group and love the idea of sharing with my community (that's actually part of my mission statement).
