I'm very disappointed with this summer's crops so far. Peas, peppers, squash and zucchini didn't even sprout despite three attempts and three different methods (starting early in pots on windowsill, starting later in pots on windowsill and direct ...

Tomatoes and eggplant! Every year they start off great and, no matter where I plant them or what I do, they get wilt or they produce blossoms that fall off without setting fruit. When I do get fruit, it's usually undersized. The one exception was ...

Toamtoes!! I grow the most beautiful tomato plants ever, but...... Where's the fruit? By the time they produce, it's generally too late in the season and they never ripen. On our local University website they recommend using epsom salt to suppleme...

Things are going great for me, although we are having less rain than usual. Quite a bit less. I've got a ton of taters, broccoli and cabbage in the ground. And onions, man, the onions. I ordered 75 starts, which is probably 50 more than I need. I'...

Hi Matt,
As you can tell I am not on-line very often. We have dial up and it can be a bit frustrating. I would be willing to have an article on my family if it is not too late.
Thanks,
Cindy

Now that is a strange coincidence Matt that you used to live in my neighborhood!

I forgot to say in my intro that I'm actually from Scotland.

We live south of Yellville (between Harrison and Mountain Home (and about 20 miles from the dam that creates Bull Shoals lake.)

I sent a article to Chris entitled Pig Tractor... I can post it like I did the signs of spring if he doesn't receive it this time (I submitted about 10 articles... and think I exceeded his size for e mails).

Ask for it now, and I'll post it like the Signs of Spring. (I read in the late '70s about the pig tractor in either Farmstead or Mother Earth News... remembered the article when we moved here 5 years ago, and tried it. Works every bit as good as I remember the article saying it would.
