- Mom to one. Live in a small suburban double-wide inside the city limits of the town where I grew up and graduated from HS. Married to a home-town guy, as well. Have no intention of moving. Working on building community right here in my little neighbourhood (where we've been residents for nearing 10 years). 2 dogs, no other pets or livestock. Just .04 acres of land on which to garden, though more gardening space just 10 minutes (driving time) away at the inlaw's house. Hope to find a way to add some crabapple and or chokecherry trees to our lot without compromising veggie space. (Ooops, that .04 acrage includes the 1170 sq ft of our house, and the "driveway" and parking space for our vehicals. It's not ALL plantable.)

Just ordered my seed for the year
It's a bit late, but then again we tend to do most things a bit late around here. Thing is, the finances were finally there that I could order a bit. It's going to mean another week light on the groceries from the store, but that's ok. That forces me to be creative in the cooking.
