About Me:
I've always been interested in nature and the environment - the first group I ever belonged to was the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). My degree training is in Biology and Nutrition.
I have some raised vegetable beds and I'm planning some forest garden landscaping for my back yard. I also manage 12.5 acres of original Kansas prairie and I'm restoring about 23 more. So far I'm not much of a gardener or farmer, but I'm working on it :-)
I share information about Natural Science, Sustainability and Practical Life Skills with other parents through my writing.
